Are the chemicals safe?
Yes, we use Chemspec products. They are the No1 brand in North America and across the world and are used in hundreds of thousands of homes every year. They comply with the strictest regulatory standards of any US state or country.
My carpets aren't that dirty. Can you give them "a quick once over"?
Unfortunately carpet cleaning does not lend itself to this. All the steps still need to be done. The carpet just won’t need as much pretreatment and agitation.
What do I need to do before you visit?
Clear the rooms as much as possible of things like dining chairs, coffee tables, lamps, and plant pots. We can move and clean under sofas and dining tables. If there are items that can’t be moved by one person, they are cleaned around.
Do I need to vacuum once everything is dry?
No, the cleaning doesn’t leave any residues. Just continue with your usual cleaning routine.
Can I put everything back once you've finished?
Not until the carpet is dry. We stand furniture on pads or blocks to avoid contact with the freshly washed carpet.
How long does it take to dry?
Usually 2 to 4 hours. If cleaning a whole house, the first couple of rooms can sometimes be dry before we leave.
